Shipping Rates

Our goals in choosing shipping of your order are two-fold:
    Ensuring that your order arrives fresh,
    Providing the best value to our customer.

We have found that Federal Express service meets these needs. FedEx residential service is a good value, and will deliver the order within three days for a majority of our customers. When residential delivery service would not ensure prompt delivery of your order (when outside of 'local' shipping zones), their 3-day delivery service is a suitable alternative.

We will accommodate special requirements for shipping your order. Our shipping method of choice is residential service where available, 3-day (Express Saver) service otherwise.

The first figure is for zone 2 (local), the second figure is for zone 7. Rates for other zones will fall between these values.

More precise shipping costs may be obtained from the Rate Finder available at FedEx website. The Fruit Lady ships from USA postal code 98155. Upon entering the destination zip code, package weight, and choice of shipment method and options, the current shipping rates may be found. (Use this value as an estimate only. The actual package weight may vary by 10% of the nominal weight, and actual shipping charges will vary accordingly.)

Residential shipment is available only for zones 2-6. (Generally, for addresses West of the Mississippi river, excluding Alaska and Hawaii)

Residential shipments to zones 7 or 8 would exceed our requirement of having your shipment arrive within 3 days. FedEx 3-day (Express Saver), 2-day, or overnight shipping fulfils our requirement, and ensures that your order arrives to you (or your recipient) in a timely manner and retains it's freshness.
